Christmas Tree Festival at St Thomas Church
For the fifth year running St Thomas Church is holding its lovely Christmas tree festival from 29th November to 4th December. The trees range from the traditional to the downright unusual! This is a community (not a commercial event) and entry is free.

Christmas shopping in Salisbury

The city has interesting, mainstream and quirky shops which have late night shopping on Thursdays in November and early December. One great example is Fisherton Mill (http://fishertonmill.co.uk/), which boasts a super Gallery and a wonderful Cafe. They are holding a Christmas Shopping evening on Friday 25th November from 6.30pm to 9pm. Christmas is coming..
One of the highlights of the run-up to Christmas is the Advent Procession ‘from darkness to light’ in Salisbury Cathedral. This year there are three processions be held on Friday 25th and Saturday 26th November at 7pm and Sunday 27th November at 5pm. Admission is free and doors open one hour before. All the fun of the fair at half term!
On only one day of the year does the 1226 Salisbury Charter Market fail to take its usual Tuesday slot. From 16th to 19th October the annual fun fair sets up in the Market Square in Salisbury. Peartree Apartments has some one and two bedroom vacancies in October if you fancy the fun fair or a well-deserved half term break.
